Light Therapy
Light Therapy is a fast, effective and safe treatment for
soft tissue injuries, pain and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, headaches, back pain, TMJ pain, carpal tunnel, tennis
elbow, plantar fasciitis and more! Treatments are recommended two-three times per week for optimal results with treatment
times generally less than five minutes.
How Light Therapy Works Light (photons) are applied to tissue. The
photons are absorbed by chromophores in the mitrochondria and cell membranes. Absorbed photon energy is converted to ATP (energy).
The additional ATP accelerates DNA and RNA synthesis, mitosis and cell proliferation. The result is tissue repair, pain reduction,
and accelerated resolution of inflammation.

Active Release TechniquesActive Release Techniques (ART) is a patented,
state of the art soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments,
fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis,
knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.
These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
Finnell Chiropractic
is a licensed and certified ART practitioner, ensuring the highest level of care for our patient's soft tissue pain and
injury. Each ART session is a combination of examination and treatment. Finnell's treatment provider uses his
or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues
are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.
